Some teachers are uncomfortable working with grade-level “teams” or in PLC’s as they believe that their voice and choice is limited with some decision that we all need to do the same thing. Steve suggests, “As a member of a PLC, a teacher can agree that the team will learn, plan, and work together to achieve agreed upon student learning outcomes. This does not mean that everyone is doing the same thing the same way.” A coach’s question about time for conferencing with teachers is also included.
